Just because it’s cold and snowy out, it doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice your footwear style! The hiking boot trend is still huge this season, and lots of winter boot brands are making really cute, stylish boots that look good while still being waterproof and warm. Today I’m rounding up some of my top picks!

WinterBoots-1WinterBoots2One | Two | Three | Four | Five | Six | Seven | Eight | NineTen | Eleven | Twelve | Thirteen | Fourteen | FifteenSixteen | SeventeenEighteen

One – Love the pop of leopard

Two – The slight wedge will give you a little added height but be comfortable all day

Three – A Kate Middleton approved brand and these are so cool

Four – On the pricey side, but I love everything about these

Five – These are kinda crazy…but I’m a sucker for shearling and they are 60% off

Six – All the Isabel Marant vibes but for a fraction of the cost

Seven – I’ve been really drawn to winter white lately, and I also love the green laces

Eight – All the comfort of Uggs, but waterproof

Nine – These are just a great, go with anything, pair of hiking boots

Ten – I have these in brown and loooove them. The brown color I have is sold out but  they are still available in dark brown & black here, and this leopard is also really fun and on sale

Eleven – These are such a cool hybrid of a sneaker and a boot, and Sorel is my favorite winter boot brand

Twelve – Perfect rain boots for a bit warmer climate

Thirteen – These look JUST like Sorel and are only $27

Fourteen – When it is super cold and snowy, these boots can’t be beat. I’ve had mine for years and they are still in great condition

Fifteen – These are called the “perfect winter boot” and they really are the perfect, everyday boot when you are dealing with daily cold and snow

Sixteen – These Meghan Markle approved boots are perfect for any snowy situation

Seventeen – I have these as well and they are really comfortable and water resistant (and on sale)

Eighteen – These look like the perfect comfortable boots to wear to and from (and around) the ski resort

Fourth of July is just around the corner, and today I wanted to share a few cute outfit inspiration ideas! For the 4th I’m always drawn to classic Americana (think denim/chambray, gingham, and stripes) and of course dressing in red, white and blue. Here’s a few patriotic pieces I’m loving.

Pearl Hair Clips

One trend that has been huge this spring is hair accessories! I tend to get in a rut with my hair and style it the same way every day, but all of the cute on-trend accessories have really been encouraging me to branch out a bit and try out some new styles. All of these styles are so simple, yet just add a little something extra which is perfect for a busy mom on the go!

Spring Trend I’m Loving: Paperbag Waist

Spring Trend I’m Loving: Paperbag Waist

Top // Pants // Shoes // Bag // Hair Clips // Watch

I first started loving this trend last summer and bought several pairs of shorts and a skirt with paperbag waists – and I’m so glad the trend is still going strong this spring! I personally love the look of a really defined waist and I feel like it is really flattering (especially at hiding the mummy tummy!). I had actually spotted a mom wearing the blue pants I’m wearing below at my sons Taekwondo studio and she looked so incredibly chic I immediately snagged them along with the black pair! I think these pants look great dressed up a bit as I’m wearing them – but also look great dressed down with a simple tee and sneakers or sandals.

The Perfect Lace Blouse Styled 6 Ways

The Perfect Lace Blouse Styled 6 Ways

Lace Blouse (also here)

I have been on the hunt for ages for the perfect lace blouse…as in I’ve been looking for probably 2 years now. I wanted it to be something that was very versatile and could be styled a multitude of ways, was lined, and looked luxe while not being crazy expensive. This blouse (which is under $100!) is pretty much everything my lace blouse dreams were made of! Today I’m sharing with you a fun little try-on session I had the other day coming up with some of my favorite ways to wear it!

TRANSITIONAL

I see myself wearing this blouse styled this way for the next month or two as a transition piece from winter to spring! I think it would also be really cute styled with my beige suede moto jacket as well.Blouse // Cardigan // Jeans // Booties // Similar Rag & Bone Hat // Bag

ROMANTIC

With Valentine’s Day around the corner, as well as February being heart month with many benefits/fundraisers happening, this would be a perfect romantic look for date night or outfit to wear to a dressy fundraiser.Blouse // Skirt (old DVF, similar here) // Shoes (amazing dupes here!) // Bag // Similar Earrings

SOFT

Even though it’s not exactly feeling like it outside at the moment, spring isn’t far away! I think this outfit would be perfect for a spring wedding, Easter, or for a baby/bridal shower. Blouse // Skirt (old ASOS, similar here) // Shoes (amazing dupes here!) // Bag // Similar Earrings

EDGY

This would be an outfit I would wear for a date night with my hubby, or for a fun girls night out!Blouse // Moto Jacket // Jeans // Heels // Bag // Similar Earrings

PROFESSIONAL

I love wearing monochromatic looks for work, and I love pairing this top with pale neutrals like beige.Blouse // Skirt // Pumps (old Kurt Geiger, similar here) // Bag // Similar Earrings

CLASSIC

How I will most frequently wearing this top! Definitely a great outfit for day to day running to appointments, meeting friends for lunch, or even just looking a bit more polished for volunteering at my kids’ schools!Blouse // Jeans // Belt // Shoes (great dupes here!) // Bag // Similar Earrings

Springtime in January

Springtime in January

Sweater: J Crew, Jeans: AG, Boots: Sam Edelman, Bag: Chloe  –  Evan’s Jacket: Old Navy, Jeans: Gap, Shoes: Target

We have been having the craziest weather! We went from snow over Christmas, to 50 degrees and sunny days alternating with rainy days (with temperatures still way above average). If I didn’t know better I would think it was almost March! This sudden warmer weather and sunshine has me craving pastels and bright colors and daydreaming about spring. I did a complete overhaul of my closet yesterday and while I was in there, I was looking for more pastel colors to wear. I realized I don’t actually own a whole lot & my wardrobe consists of a lot more neutrals. I think I may have to remedy that and add some fun, bright colors to mix in! However I do own a fair amount of pink, so I’ve been wearing it pretty much every day this week.

We are pretty much back to our normal routine this week, and surprisingly it hasn’t been too painful. Although I have to admit I’m looking forward to another 3 day weekend this weekend! Happy Friday and I hope you have a great holiday weekend. 🙂
